Life on Mars - The Soundtrack

Aunque en Estados Unidos haya sido cancelada al final de la primera temporada, las dos versiones de Life on Mars me gustaron bastante. Cierto que la gringa es un refrito de la versión Inglesa, y que su final resultó ser el más ilógico y forzado que alguien hubiera podido imaginar, pero la escena del capítulo inicial cuando el protagonista se topa de frente con unas Torres Gemelas prácticamente nuevas es un momento tan memorable como el de Charlton Heston al descubrir los restos de la Estatua de la Libertad en El Planeta de los Simios. No obstante, lo que más me gustó en ambas versiones no fue ni el guión, ni la ambientación, ni el vestuario, ni las caracterizaciones... lo mejor fue la música, que iba cambiando de acuerdo a cada capítulo.

Para empezar, el tema que da nombre a la serie es un rolononón. Life on Mars? es una canción emblemática de David Bowie que no debe de faltar en una colección musical que se respete:
